Former Durham Academy track coach arrested on child pornography charges, school says

DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — A former assistant middle school track and field coach at Durham Academy has been arrested on charges related to the alleged possession of child pornography, according to school officials.

The Durham Police Department identified the former coach as 21-year-old Sumner Horton Virkler.
