‘Catastrophic damage’: 2 killed in Bristol County Route 6 crash

Two people were killed Friday evening when two cars collided on Route 6 in the Westport and Dartmouth area.

Bristol DA Thomas Quinn announced Saturday that Tristan Bedient, 34, of Acushnet, and Kate Aldrich, 51, of New Bedford, were pronounced dead at an area hospital after their Toyota Camry collided with a SAAB sedan.
