Boston named the most collision-prone city ahead of crash that killed city worker

Ahead of a fatal crash that killed a city employee this week, a report from a major car insurance company listed Boston as the “riskiest,” most collision-prone city in America.

Allstate’s 2026 America’s Best Drivers Report states that Boston drivers are 189% more likely to be involved in a crash than the national average.
