Woman dies after South Saunders Street pedestrian crash in Raleigh, police say

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — A woman died after being hit by a vehicle early Tuesday morning on South Saunders Street in Raleigh, police said.

According to the Raleigh Police Department, officers responded around 4:40 a.m. to the 2600 block of South Saunders Street, just south of Interstate 40, for a reported pedestrian-involved crash.
