Power restored, road reopens after tree and lines fall on Jenkins Road in Wake Forest

WAKE FOREST, N.C. (WNCN) — Power has been restored and a road has reopened in Wake Forest Tuesday afternoon after a tree and lines fell in the area, officials said.

Just before 8 a.m., Town of Wake Forest officials announced a fallen tree, a broken utility pole, and fallen power lines had shut down Jenkins Road from Fullard Drive to Chillmark Avenue.continue reading …
