Lightning strike sparks house fire in Durham during Sunday storms, officials say

DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — A lightning strike sparked a house fire in Durham as strong storms moved through the area on Sunday afternoon, according to fire officials.

The Durham Fire Department said crews responded to a reported structure fire in the 2100 block of Collier Road.
