Police said McDonald admitted he drove a vehicle onto the sidewalk while police said a passenger fired shots. The vehicle struck and killed Stahl and injured a 29-year-old woman.
“When my nephew got killed, it destroyed us in a way that could never, ever be brought back,” she said.
