Chatham County woman accused of abandoning about 30 animals while wanted for stealing from elderly uncle: Sheriff

for adoption at the Chatham Sheriff’s Animal Resource Center, 725 Renaissance Drive in Pittsboro, which is open every day from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Deputies said the rest of the animals are being cared for by neighbors after wandering on their property.
