Westminster Bridge shut down after five police officers injured in River Thames boat crash

reports that a police boat carrying armed officers crashed near Westminster Bridge in central London on Friday afternoon. Casualties could be seen being treated by paramedics on a black rigid inflatable boat.

The Port of London authority said the incident at Westminster Bridge involved a police vessel.
