Wake County Bureau of Forensic Services DNA lab up and running

at the Wake County Detention Center, Wake County had to send DNA samples to the North Carolina State Crime Lab.

Wake County was one of 99 counties relying on the Crime Lab for analysis.

“That will then open up those resources for the rest of the state,” Pennica said.
