Victim of Hanover crash ID’d by officials as tributes grow at scene

County Coroner’s Office identified the victim of a fatal motorcycle crash on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, as Jake Mummert, 20, of Conewago Township.

The crash occurred in the intersection of Eisenhower Drive and Carlisle Street in Hanover Borough around 5:13 a.m. on Wednesday, according to the release.
