Tornado warning expires for parts of Edgecombe, Halifax counties: NWS

thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado being located eight miles west of Scotland Neck and 12 miles south of Halifax County.

The thunderstorm is moving southeast at 20 m.p.h., according to NWS.

The NWS said the storm is expected to reach Scotland Neck around 2:55 p.m.
