This evening, we had a power outage. I went into my son’s room to get some candles from under his bed, and suddenly I discovered this. Honestly, it’s the first time in my life that I’ve ever seen something like this, and I have absolutely no idea what it is. Does anyone know what this could be? The strange shape triggered my imagination. It reminded me of photographs I had seen of deep-sea creatures with unusual bodies and spines. At other angles, it looked like something from a science-fiction movie. Every time I thought I had identified it, another detail made me reconsider.
