This evening, we had a power outage. I went into my son’s room to get some candles from under his bed, and suddenly I discovered this. Honestly, it’s the first time in my life that I’ve ever seen something like this, and I have absolutely no idea what it is. Does anyone know what this could be? Seen from that perspective, perhaps the object wasn’t strange at all.

Perhaps I was simply encountering a small reminder of how quickly technology evolves.

The next morning, I took another look at the controller stand in daylight.

Without the darkness, the shadows, and the mystery, it looked completely different.

In fact, it was rather impressive.
