The Airport Goodbye That Changed Everything

A shrine to someone who didn’t actually live here anymore.

I made a decision.

I called my buddy Dave.

“Hey man, what’s up?”

“I need your truck,” I said. “And maybe your help moving some stuff.”

“Sure. When?”

“Now.”

There was a pause. “Everything okay?”

“Not even a little bit. But it will be.”
