Reusing Pistachio Shells: How to Turn Them Into Powder and Use It in Your Garden

If you purchased salted pistachios, it’s important to remove as much salt as possible before using the shells in the garden.

To clean them:

Rinse the shells thoroughly under running water.
Soak them in fresh water for several hours or overnight.
Rinse again.
Spread the shells out on a towel or baking sheet.
Let them dry completely before grinding.
