On June 30, Kevin Joe Turner, 51, of Lincolnton, was convicted of three felony counts of embezzlement of more than $100,000 each in Lincoln County Superior Court after pleading guilty. He was taken into custody and given an active sentence of 58 to 82 months to be served in the North Carolina Department of Adult Corrections.
