found Wells’ manner of death is undetermined, civil rights attorney Ben Crump said at a news conference.
Wells, a football player at Southwest Mississippi Community College, was reported missing after he did not return from a Fourth of July trip with friends to Mississippi’s Horn Island. Authorities recovered his body on July 6.
