When I finished, there was a long pause.
“This is a weak case,” he said finally. “No written agreement. No financial contribution from your brother. No actual evidence of any promises. But they’re counting on you backing down to avoid conflict.”
“I’m not backing down,” I said.
“Good,” he said. “Then let’s fight.”
