Michigan State Police seek public’s help after child is critically injured in Oakland County hit-and-run

that left a child hospitalized in critical condition.

Police said the young boy was struck by a vehicle Sunday (July 20) around 11:15 p.m. on 8 Mile Road near Wyoming, but investigators have not been able to determine why he was near the roadway late at night.

Police said the child’s family is cooperating with the investigation.
