Cable company in Edgecombe County agrees to pay $4M to resolve false PPP allegations

of knowingly misrepresenting the number of its employees and affiliated personnel to unlawfully seek and obtain more than $2 million in PPP loan funds and loan forgiveness.

LS Cable agreed to pay $4 million to the federal government as part of the settlement in the case, according to prosecutors.
