Body found of teen who went missing on Jordan Lake in Chatham County on July 4: Deputies

and heavy rain.

While emergency personnel were preparing to leave, according to the sheriff’s office, the teenager’s body was found by a North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission officer.

The Chatham County Sheriff’s Office is not identifying the teenager due to their age and out of respect for their family.
