A nation of bald eagle fans pulls for Jackie’s comeback

Since arriving at the Ojai Raptor Center last week, wildlife specialists there determined that Jackie is underweight, with severe anemia and inflammation affecting her kidneys. Vets caring for Jackie have yet to diagnose her; however, despite the severity of her case, the bald eagle remains alert and is eating, according to the center.
