Chicago shooting: CPD police officer shot, 3 others hurt in Albany Park on Springfield Avenue, CFD and video shows

CHICAGO (WLS) — A Chicago police officer, two women and a teenager were hurt in a shooting on Monday morning on the city’s Northwest Side, police said.

CPD interim Superintendent Fred Waller said officers responded to the call of a person shot just before 11 a.m. near Springfield Avenue near Leland Avenue in Albany Park.
