Silvis alderman steps down amid ethics complaint

SILVIS, Ill. (KWQC) – A Silvis alderman has stepped down from his position on the City Council as officials investigate an ethics complaint against him.

Officials announced the immediate resignation of 2nd Ward Ald. Craig Pirmann but did not say what they ethic complaint was on Friday.

The city plans to fill the vacant seat.
