Bettendorf man charged after videos show physical abuse of toddler, including choking

BETTENDORF, Iowa (KWQC) – A Bettendorf man is facing felony and misdemeanor charges after police reviewed six videos that investigators say show him physically abusing a 1-year-old.

Ryan M. Loyd, 27, is charged with:

• Two counts of felony child endangerment, bodily injury
• Four counts of child endangerment, an aggravated misdemeanor.
