Ex-Northwoods officer compares himself to Jesus before sentencing for civil rights crimes

ST. LOUIS – A jury in March rejected a Northwoods police officer’s claim he was giving a shoplifter a “courtesy ride” after a man was found bloody in a field. Now, a judge has just ordered that former officer must serve 10 years in prison.
