30% of Americans admit to shoplifting, annual survey finds

According to the survey, 39% of Gen Z adults and 38% of millennials said they have shoplifted at least once, compared with 24% of Generation X respondents and 18% of baby boomers.

Men were also more likely than women to report shoplifting, at 36% versus 23%.
